Why are so many videos missing on onlinedocs.wordpress.com?

This video blog started 4 years ago and as you will find out when you check the various documentaries and clips on this site is that  some of them are missing for one or several reasons. Why is that?

Well, it seems Youtube is getting good at removing “unwanted” information. You will also find several google videos “not available”… google shut down their video feature some time ago. If you’re lucky you will find the video on Youtube. Search Youtube using the title of the documentary and in most cases you will find it.

Before I end this post, allow me to share a speech from 1953.

John Swinton, the former chief of staff of the New York Times, called by his peers, “The dean of his profession”, was asked in 1953 to give a toast before the New York Press Club. He responded with the following speech:

“There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job.

If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of the journalist is to destroy the truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread; you know it and I know it so what folly in this toasting an independent press. We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks—they pull the strings—we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of others…WE ARE INTELLECTUAL PROSTITUTES.”

End quote.

If you can keep people in the dark (in ignorance) then their compass in life is taken away from them. They are lost.

Truth will set you free.
