Lindsey Williams on The Oil Spill catastrophe – Jeff Rense 23/06/2010. Length: 38:43
Two versions of BP gulf oil gusher advertisement. First one is their version, showing pristine beaches with a couple of tar balls, and clean workers joining in to make everything right in a jiffy.
As the BP oil spill enters its 78th day, cleanup crews across the Gulf Coast are working to try and remove what they can of the expanding oil slick. And many of them are getting sick doing it. A growing number of cleanup workers have reported suffering flu-like symptoms including headaches, dizziness, fatigue, nausea and problems with memory and concentration. We speak with a Louisiana chemist who testified before Congress to call for greater worker protections and a former general foreman of the cleanup crews of the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill. Senate Democrats today (June 30, 2010) asked unanimous consent to pass legislation that would give the BP Oil Spill Commission [sounds like the 911 commission??] the subpoena power it needs to do its job. “Frankly, it’s time we have a vote after so many Republican objections to this commonsense legislation,” said Sen. Robert Menendez. “[This bill] asserts that we want to protect those families, taxpayers, not oil company profits.”
We are looking forward to the first real documentary showing how this “oil spill” was orchestrated by the ones who orchestrate.
